Do I need to have taken an antidepressant?
No. Ask about desire, arousal, sensation, orgasm or closeness with no medication link. Your clinician reviews your symptoms, health and goals.
Is this only about erections?
No. We ask about desire, arousal, sensation, orgasm and emotional closeness separately.
It started after I began an antidepressant. What now?
Share which medicine you take and when symptoms began. Your clinician reviews other possible causes and any changes worth considering.
Can I ask about PSSD after stopping?
Yes. Post-SSRI sexual dysfunction describes persistent symptoms after stopping an SSRI. Your clinician assesses other possible causes and discusses symptom-focused care. Recovery cannot be promised.
Do I have to talk to someone about this?
Not usually. You write your answers in your own time. Your clinician may arrange a video visit.
What if I need more support?
Your clinician can recommend further care. Any additional review is included in the same review, at no extra charge.
What if I think ADHD is part of it?
Say so in your answers. Your clinician can help you decide whether the ADHD assessment is a useful next step.
How does delivery work?
Pick up at the partner pharmacy, or have a courier bring it. A courier needs someone 18 or older to sign at the door. There is no advance waiver.
Who delivers?
Where the pharmacy has its own driver, it delivers in that area. Canada Post is not used for controlled medications.
Can I pick the day?
You choose the delivery day. We remind you the evening before.
How fast do you reply?
Within the window shown on your request: up to 2 business days for a clinical review, 1 business day for a question, 3 business days for delivery or funding. Not around the clock.
Is it covered by OHIP?
Avora fees are paid privately, not covered by OHIP. Your workplace or private plan may reimburse part of it.
